The Vision of the Project
The general objective of the Programme is to support, through lifelong learning, the educational, professional and personal development of people in education, training, youth and sport, in Europe and beyond, thereby contributing to sustainable growth, quality jobs and social cohesion, to driving innovation, and to strengthening European identity and active citizenship.
The biggest challenge for today's companies is to meet sustainability requirements. Although European companies are at the global forefront in tackling this issue, for historical and developmental reasons there are huge differences in professional preparedness between regions.
About the CSM course
What is Certified Sustainability Manager course?
The main reasons why companies in the region are lagging behind are the lack of relevant knowledge of the managers in charge. This recognition has led to the concept of the Certified Sustainability Manager (CSM). In the last year, CSM training has been launched in Hungary with great success, aiming to provide a broad, all-encompassing basic knowledge to business professionals interested in the subject.
The CSM course consists of five broad modules which focus on a specific topic and are further split into five sub-units. Each unit was prepared and recorded by local top experts in each field. This course should give managers a broad overview to better understand sustainability challenges and learn about opportunities to overcome them.
1
Why?
Actors in the economic sector are increasingly taking their part in the fight against climate change. On the path of organizations towards ecological sustainability, it is essential to learn the "green" way of thinking, for which the Sustainability Manager Training, offers scientifically sound but practice-oriented knowledge. Specialised Sustainability Manager Course
Specialized Sustainability Manager (SSM) training courses provide a comprehensive overview of sustainability from a particular field of expertise, focusing on topics specific to that area. The aim of the programmes is to train professionals who have a high level of understanding and application of sustainability principles and successfully integrate these into the specific challenges and business practices of the sector.
The SSM courses are not a replacement for our CSM (Certified Sustainability Manager) core sustainability training, which provides a comprehensive, holistic view and covers many areas of sustainability. The specialised specification of SSM courses allows participants to choose the course that is most relevant to their ara of expertise. They create opportunities for participants to apply sustainability principles effectively and efficiently within their field of competence and to become active agents for positive change.
